Balsamic vinaigrette Recipe

A calorie-conscious idea from Chef Hans Stierli for the Avello Spa & Health Club of the Westin Resort and Spa in Whistler
Use with young lettuce leaves, a pear salad or goat's cheese.
- 70 ml (5 tbsp.) extra virgin olive oil
- 10 ml (2 tsp.) aged Balsamic vinegar
- 1 minced shallot
- 1/2 clove of garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper
- A pinch of sugar
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl.
